Ann is intrigued with the landscape and skies of New Mexico. She paints the rich, fragile colors of southwest landscapes juxtaposing them against dramatic, colorful, and ever-changing skies.
Ann has lived and worked as an artist and art teacher in Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico. Her undergraduate work was completed at Oklahoma State University in Art Education with a focus in painting and art history. She completed her masters in Art Education at the University of Tulsa where her focus was painting.
After teaching for 28 years, Ann retired in 2014 and now enjoys painting in acrylics and watercolors as well as working in clay.
