Collin's images are drawn by algorithms he writes in computer code which define a set of mathematical functions used to determine colors and patterns in the image. By manipulating equations and their parameters, the code becomes the canvas allowing him to reveal the beauty hidden within the math. Each print is accompanied by a card providing the equations used to generate the image. His work blurs the boundaries between science, mathematics, art, music, and nature to show they are all different ways of understanding the same world.
