Gerard Del Monte

Gerard holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from Rhode Island School of Design. His inspiration derives from the restraint of Zen, classical mathematical and architectural proportions, and Bauhaus functionality.  For his shop in Albuquerque, he crafts elegant designs in wood featuring silky finishes of hand-sanded, hand-rubbed oil and wax.  Sculptural art boxes, light fixtures, and housewares are created with limited edition designs.  Commissions are always welcomed, as well.
