Judy Rose

Painting, Jewelry

Judy's artistic journey started as a child dabbling with watercolors from the dime store. As her journey continued, she added art classes at Georgia State University, the University of Texas along with lessons from various artists as Mel Stabin, Judi Betts, Charles Reid and Tom Gilleon along with her lifetime artist friends. She is a signature member of the Montana Watercolor Society. Along her artist journey, she went on a detour with playing with beading all sorts of jewelry. Then her learning brought her to classes at the Taos MetalSmithing School and Rio Grande Jewelry classes to learn use of precious metal clay (PMC). All of her previous painting art classes helped her with design and composition in creating art objects/jewelry in silver ‘n stones. Texture, colors and movement are essential elements she strives to incorporate in her jewelry.
