Judy Zabel

Spotlighting the wonders of the world and its people is the primary goal of Judy's photography. Travels with her camera whether down the street or on the other side of the globe, affords her a window on the planet and its inhabitants. While she finds that the timelessness of black and white photography suits her style, she also appreciates color photography. Her images have been shown in numerous juried exhibitions and feels fortunate to have received awards for many of her photos.

Judy's work has been shown in numerous juried exhibitions including the Annual New Mexico Photographic Art Show, Insight, Shades of Gray, Cathedral of St. John, Corrales Church Art Show, New Mexico Art League and ABQ Photo Gallery. “Dancing in the Moonlight” and “Odd Monk Out” both earned Judge’s Choice awards. “Dog’s Best Friend” was a featured image and “Catz Meow” won People’s Choice award.
