Okjoo Lee’s pottery conveys motifs derived from her South Korean roots complemented by years of living in the United States. Lee creates pots, plates, and vases with daring curves and colors, often capturing her eye for the beauty in the small things in life, from bright-hued flowers to cats and other animal motifs. The artist considers the functionality of her pieces as well as their aesthetic beauty. Her greatest joy is knowing her pieces are put to many great uses.
